Thanks so much to those of you that have already donated previous to publishing this note. We are so grateful. My name is Tasia, I am Dolores Mark's, daughter. I created this site with the goal of collecting donations to help my mom and her husband begin to rebuild their lives.
A QUICK BACKGROUND: Due to excessive medical bills, Dolores and Duane's home was unfortunately forclosed-upon in Arizona. They decided to move back to OH. They packed their small RV with their most valued possessions gathered over 75 years with many multi-generational treasures. (At this point, everything else had already been sold.) They drove as far as Missouri when they smelled smoke and then saw flames quickly rising higher and higher.
Dolores and Duane (and their two animals) narrowly missed death. We have so much to be thankful for. As you might have imagined, all that's left are the clothes on their backs and my mom is even without shoes. If there is anything at all that you can spare, it would be appreciated more than could be put into words. Anything, from a financial donation (no amount is too small) to clothes, electronics, dog and cat food, even Ohio senior housing information - anything and everything - we will be so grateful for.
