Kossa Kountry

On the morning of Saturday November 14th before sunrise, someone trespassed onto the property of Kossa Kountry and set fire to the shop that contained the tractors and equipment required to prep and maintain the tracks. Owner and operator Weston Hunt, a dirt bike rider himself at one time, built Kossa Kountry from the ground up. A dream he started planning in 2016 with the support of his mother and sister. It was the inheritance money from his mother’s passing that he was able to turn that dream into a reality. Building Kossa Kountry with grand hopes of providing the motocross community a place to come together and ride.

Due to the COVID crisis, Weston was laid off from his job in the Oil Field in March 2020 and had to rely on what little profit a track brings to help provide for his family. To add insult to injury, this also caused him to have to cancel the insurance that would have covered the equipment lost in the fire. Now is the time for the motocross community to come together and help. Not for just a fellow rider but one that has taken on the challenge of opening and operating a track that we as a community rely on to keep the sport going!

We are working with fellow motocross patrons to volunteer time to clean up and help at least be able to open the track on weekends to generate some sort of revenue. But the damages are extensive, and the equipment lost are expensive!

With holidays approaching and COVID shutting down so many other businesses, please consider providing a donation to help Weston get his business back running so he can continue the dream his mother helped him start.

The biggest costs  they need help with are a tractor, building clean up, and replace the building. In kind donations and contacts that can offer discounted help on these purchases are also greatly appreciated!
