The Way You Talk To Me Music Video

My name is Leonardo Martinez, an award winning, self managed singer/songwriter and performer, looking to create a bar raising music video. Had it not been for my music videos, I wouldn't have had the start that has lead me to where I am today. Today, I have accomplished:
-touring the U.S.;
-Performing in major music industry establishments like The Viper Room, and Carnival in Los Angeles, LA Fashion Week; 
-being listed as a headlining act for the Midwest's largest gay pride event(Tulsa Gay Pride), as well as performing at multiple other gay pride events like NYC, DC Capital Pride, Las Vegas, and more;
-multiple radio interviews including UCLA radio and Channel Q;
-multiple publications featuring my work including Instinct Magazine, VoyageLA, LifeIsArt Magazine; and
-More than 100,000 streams collectively on Spotify

This is an opportunity to grow in my artistry and continue to elevate the bar and standard for myself and my craft.
In 2017, I've began my career by:
-creating music videos
-starting the film festival circuit
-becoming an award winning music video/filmmaker
-beginning my live performance journey.

I won't ignore that the way that this all began was from the help of the people that donated to my first tour. Thanks to those who believed in me before I even got started, and now this is an opportunity to continue letting the seeds that have been planted sprout into something more beautiful than it's already become.

I've looked at my previous works and I am super proud of what I've been able to put together through the various means that have come through each individual project. But this time, I would like to create something that is completely different from what I've done. While my videos showcase choreography, and locations with beautiful landscapes, and storylines, I realize the one thing I'm missing is something that is VERY CURRENT and necessary for the realm of art: a concept video. Music videos also showcase a ton of amazing art direction from lighting, staging, digital add ins through green screen or duplicating the artist, or the background people even...I really could go on...Think of Nails Hair Hips Heels by Todrick Hall, Level Up by Ciara, Freakum Dress by Beyonce...music videos like this.

For my next music video, I have a ton of inspiration to keep things super choreography based and art direction inspired. The elements included are:
A warehouse location
lighting with LEDs, Quasars, Strobes, and much more staging lights
staging with stairs
smoke machines
costumes
strong editing
dancing, dancing, dancing

This type of work requires a large team of people and a budget that will accommodate all of the aspects of this video. WIth your help, participation, and belief and faith in me to continue moving up in my career goals, I will be able to accomplish this.

$1,000-1,499: OKAY....NOW WAIT....THISSSSSSSSSS.............Someone that takes their hard earned money and puts THIS investment into me...I know EXACTLY what to offer you......Assistant Producer film credit in the music video!!! As I've continued in the film festival circuit, the prizes have gotten MUCH bigger...It's not a promise whenever I submit that I'll even get into a film festival. When I do, it's no promise I'll get nominated. When I do, there's no promise I will win, and when I do, there's absolutely no promise that there's going to be something more than a certificate, plaque, or trophy handed to me. Most recently, I've been involved with film festivals that offer the filmmakers involved in each project a vacation offer, or even some cash prizes, and include VIP appearances like Vivica Fox or Michelle Rodriguez.....Whatever the prize is, I would love to share this with you by offering you an Assistant Producer film credit in the music video!!!!This will give you an opportunity to be involved in the filmmaking world and to receive an opportunity to be acknowledged for your major financial contribution! $1,500 + With this, I don't even know what to say...this kind of contribution brings me to tears. It's a really rewarding and loving feeling to know that you not only are willing to take this financial investment into my journey, but that you are taking hard work of your own life and contributing to the hard work of mine. This is a donation that deserves something straight from my heart. Allow me to offer you this.....I will personally take time to teach you choreography from my music, train you, and get you performance ready so I can have you join me on stage for the thrill and fun of dancing. Not only will you get the opportunity to have stage time, but you will also get to grow in your movement, and get the chance to have fun with me! The date projected is for March 21. The funds, of course, would need to be collected in advance to rent the studio and equipment, pay for the lighting rentals, costumes, the team of people involved(cinematographer, dancers, executive producer, set designer, etc) Any funds that are raised over the stated goal of $5,000 will go directly to the artists and technicians involved in the production of this video, as well as to future projects. The money will stay in the realm of my art.
