Hello Everyone!
Thanks for your interest in helping Sarah (Henning) Madison and her family in their time of need!
On November 3, 2020, Sarah and her daughter, Autumn, were traveling to take Autumn to school. Autumn has cerebral palsy and was needing some extra equipment for virtual learning. While driving, Sarah swerved to avoid a deer. That ended with a roll over car crash. Thank God that Autumn walked away with only a mild concussion and some scrapes and bruises.
Sarah, however, needed to be med-flighted to UW-Hospital. She suffered a traumatic brain injury which caused seizures, has a broken back (fractures at T11 and 12), several herniated discs (some of which were just recently repaired in a surgery earlier this year), as well as fractures in her neck. She is currently recovering at home and will need to wear a brace for at least 8-12 weeks. After she has some time to heal, she will be evaluated for surgeries to repair her spine.
Sarah was a month away from short and long term disability through work and now has no income coming in. She is a single mother, just moved into a new apartment, and is receiving no other financial support.
Please help fund Sarah and her family during this difficult time while she is healing and unable to work. Any bit will help and is greatly appreciated! We are trying to raise at least $5000.00 to get her financially through the next few months until she can go back to work.
