On Paula's birthday in September of 2018 she was diagnosed with stage 3 beast cancer that is also in her lymph nodes. Since then the doctors have just completed phase 1of chemotheropy. That was once every 3 weeks for 12 weeks and has turned out to be very hard on her system. Not being able to keep any foods and liquids in her body. As well as not being able to keeping her white blood count up which has been extremely low. Making it necessary to be put on a weekly schedule of IV fluids to keep her from dehidration.

She has worked as a police, fire, and 911 dispatcher for the over 13 years. And has been able to work some of her shifts but it is getting harder on her as time goes by. The people that she works for and with have been a great help by supporting her and allowing her to change her schedule for doctor time and recouperation. And the moral support that has helped her keep her spirits up as much as she can. They are wonderful, thoughful and caring people to work for and with.

Now as the holiday season approaches it is nearing time to start phase two which is chemotheropy. That will start on December 21st just before Christmas and will be 1 treatment every week for 12 weeks. This is going to be even more difficult for her body to handle. After which she will have to undergo surgary and chemotheropy with possible follow up of radiation.

And is going to be extremely hard to keep her health and spirits high. Needing all the prayer and strenght and support to get through this difficult time.
