Medical Mission Trip - Dominican Republic

Hello everyone! I am SO excited and blessed to announce that I have the opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic (DR) for a medical mission trip this May! A group of UAB physician assistant, PT, and OT students will be partnering with Christian Medical Ministry of Alabama. I will not only be able to practice the new skills I have learned in PA school to provide medical care to the community of Juan Dolio, but also seize the opportunities to pray with these patients about their spiritual and physical needs.
During these next 40 days of Lent, I have committed myself to prayer and almsgiving. I will be praying to God for his continued strength, support, and love. I will also be praying for his guidance as I make a difference in the lives of people of the DR both spiritually and physically.
During this amazing journey, I ask for your prayers during my time of preparation and travel.
