hey all. :) alyse here! for those of you who don't know, ashley devine and i met our senior year in high school and instantly, we connected and became best friends! we're one in the same, this girl and i. although, life has gotten in the way. i stayed in spring hill, had kids and her moving back to jersey; we always find time to keep in touch! ashley, since the day we met had always been there for me. if i needed anything. a ride, a shoulder to cry on, money, the occasional altercation with other females (lol) she has been there & now it's time that i am there for her. ashley was diagnosed with liver cancer a few years ago and like the fighter she is, kicked its ass. she underwent surgeries, had most of her liver removed and seriously, i never heard her complain once! she was usually the one having to calm me down and tell me, everything would be alright! she was right. she got through it. After that, she changed her life completely! She knew things had to change and she had to be the best she could be, to her body! Fast forward a few years! now, here we are again and she is faced with this fight, all over again. Radiation, a transplant, not to mention, the emotional and physical strain. Ashley would never ask for anything, but she'd be the first one to offer you a helping hand.There is not much i can do for her at this point, aside from being there for her (states away) so, here i am, in the only other way i know how! i want to try to raise as much as we can, to help her with medical bills and what have you. this will take its toll on her emotionally, physically, and financially. so, with the help of friends, family and maybe a stranger or two, i'd like to kick these medical bills asses, while ashley worries about kicking cancers ass! thank you for all the love and support! #powerofprayer
