Friends and Family,


“Hope for the best, plan for the worst,” I always say. If you are friends with me on social media then you are well aware of the bond I have with my furry four-legged best friend. Kind, smart, loving, adventurous (sometimes too adventurous).. are a few words to describe Woody. Over the past 8 years, he has been by my side for each new chapter in my life. Whether in those chapters if he is nudging my arm to lick my tears or racing each other as we sprint down the road, it’s time I return the favor.

I took him in for a check-up where they discovered a blueberry size tumor, but in an area where if it grew larger it would be painful and dangerous. At an earlier age than most, he has been diagnosed with cancer (known as AGASACA). It is very small and can be treated. His bloodwork shows he is healthy and is a perfect candidate for surgery. He is in no pain, although he will be if he does not have surgery ASAP. I am humbly reaching out to friends and family in this time of need.


So, here’s the PLAN!

1.  “Hope For the Best” -
Best case scenario will be after the next exams on Tuesday, we will find out that cancer has not spread and will continue to surgery. If this is the case, I will be having a silent online auction where friends and family can bid on items and the money will go toward his surgery as well as the go fund me. Items in the silent auction included are a 2-night stay at Turkey Lake Retreat, Mosquito Treatments, Annie Glass, Special Wine Selections, Art, Interior Design Consultations, and More! (Hey, if I am going to try to raise money, why not make it a little extravagently fun?)



2. “Expect the Worst” 
..let’s not cross that bridge quite yet.



If you would like to donate toward the cost of the exams so far, I would be overwhelmingly grateful and thankful for your support. I know it is a very hard time right now, so there is no expectation. Exams: $1,000 (ultrasound, xray, biopsy etc.)




Surgery: $3,000 (If costs are less than quote all money will be returned or donated to the Humane Society of Memphis)
