Donations will go to support the daughter and granddaughter of a dear friend of mine. She is a single mom of a young teen and is trying to get ahead after escaping an abusive relationship. Here is her story…

Asking for donations. I am not the type of person to ask for help, unless I desperately need it. This last year has been extremely trying. I am a single mom of a thirteen-year-old daughter. We have been rebuilding our lives for the last four months, after a terrible relationship that I was in. We have been trying to heal from the damage that was done. I work several jobs: seasonal maintenance, gig work, and nursing homes. I have an opportunity to move on to one full-time job which would benefit my daughter and me. I can't manage to do that, all the other responsibilities that come in a day, work my jobs, and start this new job. Starting a new job means they hold your first check. That means the gas to go back and forth. I just don't have it. I struggle to keep food in my house and keep up with the necessities of a teenager. I know God did not take us out of a horrible situation to fail now. I am humbly asking for help. Anything would be greatly appreciated and put towards bettering my daughter and my future.
