Anna’s medical bills

Trying to raise money to help with medical bills for me and my family. Anything helps and is appreciated.

Back in 2019 I was at work and had extreme abdominal pain. I passed out at work and was sent to the ER. They found a very large tumor on my left ovary. The doctor that I had seen did not take my insurance, so I wasn’t able to receive care from him and was sent to another doctor. This doctor did exploratory surgery claiming he did not find anything. I still was in excruciating pain constantly and was very frustrated by the situation. I was sent to another doctor. The new doctor removed the very large mass off of my left ovarian tube. He thought he could make it better but there was no way that was possible and ended up being cancerous. I received treatment for that and it was supposed to be okay and the end of everything , it was supposed to resolve the issue. A few years later I was still continuing to have pain, but on the opposite side, I didn’t want to go to the doctor because of what happened in the past. I ended up going to the ER for severe pain where they found another mass. This time it was a lot bigger than my last tumor had been. They tried to do treatments on it, and put me on several different medication’s to try to cure the tumor. I was sent to many different oncologist, and gynecologist. Nothing was working, nothing was going in the right direction. I was finally referred to the Huntsman Center. I am amazed and overwhelmed with the amazing staff that they have. I had to have a emergency hysterectomy to remove all of the tumors off of my cervix and uterus and remaining ovary and tube. It is really hard for me to accept that this is happening at such a young age. With all of the medical issues and miscarriages it has been very difficult. This is not supposed to be a sad sappy post just for people to feel sorry for me. This is just for awareness that things happen that are out of your control. I am so glad that I’m receiving a treatment at this time. We won’t get my test results back for about a week to see if this one is cancerous too. The tumor that they removed and was an 8 centimeter mass off of my right ovary. I have been in a lot of pain and have been struggling. I had surgery on 12/20 and was discharged 12/23. On 12/28 I started developing a post op infection and was hospitalized again but was thankfully released 3 days later I am so happy to be home and am beyond amazed with the kind staff and care I have had at the huntsman cancer hospital.
