Junior National Young Leaders Conference

Alexandra has received an amazing opportunity to travel to Washington, DC and attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference: Foundations of Leadership 1.  We are extrememly proud of her accomplishments and hope with the help of our family and friends, we can raise the funds to allow her to participate in this 6 day trip.  Washington, DC will serve as her living classroom as she will explore leadership through the lens of American history at the National Museum of American History and the Lincoln, Vietnam Veterans, and Korean War Veterans Memorials.  She will also be a special guest at the historic Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, where she will study John Brown's 1859 raid and discuss the choices and consequences of leadership.  Alexandra will also spend an unforgettable night at the Maryland Science Center among the exhibits! (And these are only a few things on the list to do)
