If you have ever been inspired or informed by Kisane Appleby's (Zane's) daily posts about Health, Wellness & Living the Best life we can, now would be the perfect opportunity to give something back!
There is currently no qualification for Raw Nutrition in Australia. Zane has committed to going to the US to make sure that she is offering her students and supporters the most up-to-date and correct nutritional information about living raw and to become certified to do so.
Most of you would not know that Zane gives most of what she earns to helping and educating others, I have never seen anyone give as much to not only those around her but also complete strangers who ask for help or advice. She works tirelessly towards the global revolution of changing the way people think about food and health and has dedicated her life to this.
Now you may be asking why she needs donations, Zane has been saving hard since she found out she hard the opportunity to attend and has paid more than half of her way. But unforeseen circumstances and a random car accident has left her budget short and if we don't raise the money for the remainder of her tuition her investment in becoming certified is lost

After starting out as a teenager on the wrong foot, leaving home at 16, no close contact with my family for almost 7 years, on medication, diagnosed with mental illness and with no hopes or goals for my future I struggled for 10 years to find my path and any form of happiness. At 26 I heard about cognitive therapy and healthy living as a way to take my life back. From that day I did! I lost 38kg in 53 weeks and started making healthier raw choices immediately, for the more than 10 years since I got to my goal weight I have continued to learn, study and now teach why clean healthy mostly raw foods and a balanced lifestyle can not only make you physically healthy, find your ideal body weight and increase your energy, it can lead to overall mental and emotional wellness also.
Knowing this I started my little business Realistically Raw You about 3 years ago, and began sharing what I was learning with others! The feedback and testimonials were amazing - it was changing lives and I felt even more drive and passion to make a difference to the world! My latest venture has been The Real Food Revolution, travelling to 5 capital cities with over 20 other speakers to share what we know about living a happy healthy life. During these past few months I have spent all my time energy and effort creating the Real Food Revolution and have done little for myself. I have also learnt there is a HUGE thirst for the right knowledge here in Australia. People want to know the steps to be well health and avoid disease. It is so important for me now to have integrity to what I teach and continue my education and to live a balanced healthy life.
Although I have done some nutrition study, there is no nutrition education here in Australia that is RAW certified. The Living Light Culinary Arts school has not only raw certified nutrition education but education on creating delicious raw meals and recipes. At this stage I feel that the people I teach deserve the best, most correct, most current education and they need the skills to make this a lifestyle change. The Living Light Culinary Arts school offers me the opportunity to take the people I teach to the next level, to make it easy to eat well, to live right and to be well.
Without this course I could keep teaching what I am teaching but there is so much more that is important, I feel I am not offering everything there is to offer. I want to make the biggest difference and impact on the most peoples life. I believe it is my purpose and I will keep working towards this no matter what.
