Fighting For Tomorrow

Chris Wood, an Amazing husband & father of three, is facing one of the toughest battles that life can throw at a person; Cancer. To be specific, Small Cell Lung Cancer which has metastasized and left many toumors in its wake. Starting in his left lung it has moved to his liver, and one particularly aggressive tumor attached its self at the base of his skull putting pressure on his spinal cord causing debilitating headaches and vision problems that lead us to seek medical help and eventually get this diagnosis.
Doctors have started Chris on treatment immediately, first was targeted radiation to the tumor causing symptoms, but now that we have a full diagnosis he has begun chemotherapy with two forms of chemo. In order to attack this disease head-on, he needs to be able to keep going to treatment, eat better, and cover the bills insurance is denying. While the family has a car, it isn't up to the constant trips back and forth to chemo and the doctors appointments.
We are trying to raise $ to help the family keep fighting for the life of this deeply loved and respected Son, Husband, Brother, & Father. The doctors and family are hopeful for Chris to reach remission. To get the chance to watch his three sons grow into adults with their own happy families. To spend his days beside his loving wife and family, making as many more happy memories as possible.
