Harley's Vet Bill

A friend of mine on Facebook made the following post on September 20th:
"I was so upset yesterday I could not post this. My neighbor hit my granddaughters 2 dogs several times in the head with a golf club. These dogs bark but they do not bite. One is a lab the other is chihuahua & Wiener mixed. He hit the small dog so hard he flew up in the air & landed in the ditch. The lab took several blows to the head, her teeth are knocked out & jaw broke & blood pouring everywhere. He could have easily hit my granddaughter she was standing by the lab. There was a yard full of kids watching this. They are all devastated. When I talked to him he said he would do it again. Please pray for this man because a normal person would not do this."
After seeing, I immediatly posted about the event myself, and took Harley (the lab) to the vet because a man by the name of Jerry offered to cover expenses for her and we found out her jaw bone had been shattered into a million peices. The vet recommends surgery to replace the shattered bone, but the family can not afford it. We have less than a week to raise the money and we are asking our community for help to get Harley better! Any amount helps. Thank you in advance!
UPDATE: Just spoke with the vet and they stated the total cost should be right under $2,500! Help us reach our goal!
