Send Tyrik Henry to USA Junior Nationals

Tyrik Henry, an Enfield High School junior, won the Emerging Elite division in the 100 meter high hurdles at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor track and field meet June 13 in North Carolina. His winning time qualified him for the USA Track & Field Junior Outdoor Championships at the University of Oregon in early July, but financial hardship is likely to prevent him from participating. We would like to raise enough to send Tyrik and his mom to this prestigious national event, pay for his entry fee, plane fare for the two of them and three nights accommodations. We are also going to plan a fundraising event locally for him, but with very limited time, we are exploring all financial possibilities. This is a rare opportunity for such a talented, admirable young man, and we would hate to see this opportunity missed due to lack of funds.
