We need a little help from friends

For those that know me well asking for help is not easy for me. But recent events have really crippled our finances. Quite frankly we have struggled since 2008 when we both got laid off within two months. We managed to hold our heads above the water by tapping into our 401ks selling some of our stuff and changing our lifestyles. But recently with a hospital visit, follow up visits scheduled, possible surgery and car repairs...well our buffers are (have been) depleted and I/we are forced to take our hat in our hand and say "Help". If you know us at all you know this is really difficult for us/me to ask. So there it is...I could go into more details about what happens along the way but this is the gist of the matter. If you see it in your heart to help you will have our eternal gratitude! And as always we will pay it forward as we are able.
