Ronnie Pleasant Jr. / Medical Bills

On February 2, Ronnie Jr was in an automobile accident, which resulted in a spinal injury. While in ICU for the first 40 days Ronnie Jr. has undergone numerous procedures and was attached to a ventilator while in Baylor ICU. On March 12, Ronnie Jr. was transferred and currently remains at Baylor Rehabilitation Center for speech, respiratory and physical therapy where he has made significant progress. Through GOD's grace, Ronnie is now breathing without the assistance of the ventilator, able to speak fluently and retains his humble smile. While these milestones are significant, it is just the beginning of a long journey of "unknowns". Friends of Ronnie Jr. recognize that as the Pleasant family persevere on their "new normal", recovery has and will continue to result in exorbitant medical and personal expenditures.
