Maria Salome Cerda funeral fund

Those of you that know my wife Carla O'Boyle would know that she is a caring and loving person. As a Registered Nurse she is constantly taking care of sick people, dying people and people with tragedy in their lives.This time tragedy has come into her life. Recently her mother Maria Salome Cerda who lives with us and is a large part in taking care of our children was diagnosed with an aggressive stage 4 colon cancer. Maria is the type of person that likes to be independent and do things on her own. She was always walking to the store or cleaning up around the house. She was a very active person. Once the cancer started attacking her body she became very weak. So weak she was unable to walk and barely had the strength to talk.This all happened within just a few weeks. Today April 9th 2014 just before 9pm, Maria was pronounced dead.
Due to the unexpected tragedy that has happened in our household we were not prepared for funeral expenses. We are currently having to withdraw money from our retirement funds and pull together any money that we would normally use for our children.We are asking family, friends, co-workers or anybody in general that is willing to donate for help. We hate to do this but because of the circumstances and how fast the cancer took her life, we are left with no other choice.
