CASSIE GOES TO AUSTRIA FOR LIEDER

Cassie Venaglia, a Mexican and Italian-American soprano, was born and raised in Southern California in Orange County. She currently attends the California State University of Fullerton’s school of music for voice and composition. Last summer of July 2013, she was invited to attend SoundScape, a 2 week-long
festival for performers and composers alike. This festival was held in the Italian Alps of Maccagno, Italy. While there, Venaglia studied and performed with soprano Tony Arnold. This summer, she was invited to attend AlpenKammerMusik, a summer chamber music festival in Liesing, Austria, just outside of Vienna. During this festival, she will hone her skills as a singer, singing in a variety of different languages like Portugese, German, and English under the direction and guidance of esteemed baritone, Randall Scarlata. Please help her to sharpen her skills and talent by any means of financial contribution to her funds for her journey. Traveling to Europe is expensive, from the tuition, train travel, and overall living expenses during her 20 day excursion. Any little bit will be a great blessing to this talented musician.
