Rosario O medical bills + expenses

Rosario, a positive person,passionate hard-woring healthcare professional and dedicated widowed mom, desperately needs help.
After losing a kidney to cancer three years ago, her disease has now metastasized to many sites, even though her oncologist, a specialist in the field, declared she was "cancer-free", and presecribed no further treatment of this aggressive condition after her original surgery. In hindsight, this was a tragic misstep.
Recent grueling courses of chemo have bought Rosario some time, halting and even reversing some of the cancer's growth, but at a price--she's been too ill to work through her treatment, and now faces close to $500/month COBRA costs for health insurance, in addition to her living and medical expenses. Both of her children are hard working and attending universities, struggling to both help their mom and get through school in difficult economic times. Her son recently lost hours at work due to cutbacks, a dire loss for the family already overloaded with bills and worries.

Life has dealt Rosario staggering blows, including losing her husband to stomach cancer 9 years ago, and the very recent death of her father, yet she remains focused on blessings and possibilites. Her dream is to see her kids graduate from college.  She knows that education is their key to successful, productive lives, whatever the future may bring.

Please help provide Rosario with funds to continue to buy health insurance and pursue treatment that is the golden ticket to seeing her children safely on their way.  Her friends and community would like to rasise $35,000 to help this amazing family stick together in their valiant struggle, and achieve their goals together.
