Hop on for Hospice with Postman Joe

As you may have heard there is a new Palliative Care Facility planned for 2021, currently being constructed in Roscommon Town by Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
This facility will provide Day Care, Community Care and an 8 Bed In-Patient Unit providing respite and end of life services.
Many of our lives are touched by illness and I want to do my small bit to ensure that patients and their families are given every support possible at the most difficult time.
That's why I've decided to park up my post-van and "Hop on for Hospice" to cycle my rural Post Run which is approximately 80km (depending on how many letters I have to deliver that day!!!) to fundraise for the New Roscommon Hospice House.
About Mayo Roscommon Hospice:
Mayo Roscommon Hospice in association with HSE West provides a specialist palliative care service, free of charge, to patients and families living with life limiting illness in counties Mayo and Roscommon. The service is available to patients in their homes and hospitals. Our mission is to care and support while meeting both the physical and emotional needs of patients and their loved ones. This vital service enables patients to live life to the full in comfort and dignity by improving their quality of life through pain control and alleviating other distressing symptoms. Patients are referred to Hospice by either their General Practitioner or their hospital consultant.
