KY Scoliosis Support Group Fundraising
Have you heard of Scoliosis, do you know someone with Scoliosis? Did they wear a brace, do physical therapy or have surgery?
The 5 girls requesting your help have Scoliosis. 2 of the five have had surgery within the last 4 months, 1 two years ago and 2 are wearing a brace. During their Journey they discovered the Curvy Girls Scoliosis Support Group! (read more at curvygirlsscoliosis.com). Abby is the Kentucky Group Leader. She holds meetings once a month so the girls can get together and discuss tough questions and be there for each other. Abby had surgery January 27th 2014, due to the severe curve in her spine she actually gained 3 inches in vertical height once it was corrected (see the before and after X-Rays in the video). Abby along with Savannah, Alyssa, Faith and Emme would like to raise awareness so that they can reach out to more young ladies with scoliosis and attend the 2nd Biannaul Curvy Girls Scoliosis Convention in Hauppauge, New York, June 2014. Abby attended in 2012 and had a wonderful and uplifting experience. She wants the rest of her group to experience the support she received from "Curvy Girls" all around the world!
They are working together to raise Scoliosis Awareness and make their group known to other girls who need someone to talk to during their Scoliosis Journey! All proceeds will be used for the Kentucky Curvy Girl Scoliosis Support Group!
