Little Charlie's Medical Fund

Little Charlie is a happy, energetic puppy—quick to greet any and every human and dog she meets. She loves to go for walks but takes alot of breaks to lay in the grass and watch children play in the park. She's had a cough for about two months now. Sometimes it wakes her up and she struggles to breathe. We've been in and out of the vet since we got her, when we first got her she had an infection (UTI) then when she was about 4 months old her cough began. She's now on her third round of antibiotics and x-rays revealed dense spots in her lungs. We recently visited an internist who said that they'd need to briefly put her under anesthesia and perform a procedure in which they inject a saline wash into her lungs, retrieve it, and send it to the lab for testing to try to determine the cause (parasite, bacteria, etc.) and the next course of treatment. The test alone costs $2,000 and in the weeks leading up to this, between vet visits, x-rays, and prescriptions, we've already spent over $1,000. We're expecting that the results of the test will certainly lead to more treatments and thus more bills because we want to get Charlie back to her normal self as soon as we can.  We've alotted money for this very contingency but we're burning through it quickly and any help that can be offered by those who are able would be greatly appreciated. We just want the best for Charlie and want her to be able to go on walks and hang out with all her puppy friends and breathe unencumbered. We know that everyone has bills and hardships but if you happen to be in a position to be able to help us help Charlie, we would be forever grateful.
