Donate to the Children of South Africa

Dearest friends & family,
As some of you may know, I have decided to spend some of my time this summer voluneering with children in South Africa.
You may be thinking "why South Africa?"
Because according to a recent report by UNICEF, South Africa's levels of violence against children are among the highest in the world. Tens of thousands of children are victims of abuse, neglect and exploitation every year "“ and offenders often go unpunished
And because while on an amazing journey to Machu Piccu in Peru last year, I met some wonderful people from South Africa... and when I thought about volunteering with children in Africa, South Africa just seemed like the natural choice for me.
My one goal during this trip is to make the biggest impact on the lives of the children that I touch and to help the organizations that I have chosen to volunteer through, Dreams To Reality and International Volunteer HQ as much as possible...and I need your HELP!
I am writing to ask each and every one of you to consider making a monetary dontation to my cause...I will use the funds to personally purchase supplies and necessities for the children, the childcare facilities and the school that I will be volunteering at.
Think of this as donating to a charity where you can be sure that every cent of your dontation is going directly to the children you are trying to help. When I donate to a cause I always wonder where exaclty my money is going and how much of it is really helping my cause...
Please note that you will not be funding my journey...My trip is already paid for and I will be donating both my time and money to the children once I get there. The organization that I have chosen to volunteer through actually does not accept monetary donations. They prefer that the necessary supplies be purchase for the children at the time of my visit as this will also help the local economy.
I have set a small goal for my fundraiser and I hope that through your generocity I will be able to exceed this goal. I hope that you would consider donating...every little bit will help.
