<div><strong>UPDATE 12/10/24:</strong> We are thrilled to have reached the original $20k goal thanks to all the generous donors (THANK YOU)! A new, safe, and reliable van with the necessary accessibility modifications was quoted at $90,305 — more than double what we expected. This includes about $46,000 for a new vehicle itself, $52,100 for the modifications, $4,000 in taxes and fees, and a discount of $12,000. The modification cost is similar on a used van and insurance will only cover up to $15,000. Because of this, we are raising the goal.

<div>Our close friend <strong>Chris needs our help</strong>. Recently, his wheelchair-accessible van—his primary way to get around—caught fire and was totaled on his way to work. Thankfully, Chris is okay, but now he’s without transportation.
