Emergency Airfare

We are hoping to be able to raise enough money to help cover the cost of Kevin’s emergency flight home.

Cheyenne works with us at Bed Bark and Beyond. She is amazing with the dogs and always goes above and beyond. Kevin is her wonderful husband. He serves in the United States Navy, and in the midst of transferring duty stations right now.  Kevin has also helped us a great deal at BB&B. They are amazing parents to two kiddos. 

Last night (12/30), while Cheyenne was here at work, prepared to work the overnight shift, she received a call that Kevin’s father had a massive heart attack. And wasn’t expected to make it through the night.  She anxiously waited for someone to come relieve her so that she could go home to be with her husband and two children. Kevin’s father lives in Chicago, he wasn’t able to be there to say his goodbyes. Since Kevin serves in the Navy, they frantically tried to get an emergency flight out either with the Red Cross or some other avenue. Unfortunately they ended up having to purchase a ticket at full price, which has put their little family in a financial bind. 

We are hoping to be able to help them relieve a little bit of the stress of this situation by trying to raise enough to cover the airfare.
