Jake's Top Surgery

I met my best friend four years ago and a couple months into our friendship he came out to me as a transgender man. We have the most genuine bond and I had never experienced anything as strong until meeting him. About a year and a half ago, we realized that we had stronger feelings for each other than just platonic and we started dating. Our first Christmas together included gifts like his first binder, cologne, and a new wallet. Little by little, he is growing into the person that he wants to be and feels most comfortable as.

A top surgery is a huge step in this journey to becoming who Jake wants to be. Unfortunately, these are not cheap nor are they always covered by insurance. Jake is currently in school at the University of Cincinnati while working two jobs in order to pay his way through college. He is the hardest working person that I know. He is constantly putting other people and their needs before his own. He will be the first to cover anyone if they are short on money and he would never let that be a factor in someone not being able to join in on any activity. Jake is always thinking of others and how he can relieve stress for those he cares about, even if they are financial needs. If anyone deserves a little extra help, it's him. 

Asking for money is not easy and it is not something that Jake could ever personally bring himself to do. As his girlfriend and best friend, I want to do whatever I can to make him happy. I know that money is something that everyone seems to be short on right now, but if you have anything to donate to Jake it would be so greatly appreciated.
