Help Save Lilly: A Life-Saving Surgery for My Sweet Girl

Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I never thought I’d find myself in this position, but my heart is heavy, and I’m reaching out for help. My 12-year-old miniature schnauzer, Lilly, has been my constant companion, my source of comfort, and my greatest joy. Recently, she was diagnosed with a life-threatening condition called pyometra, and the only way to save her is through an urgent surgery to remove her uterus.

The cost of the surgery has been quoted at $4,000—a price I cannot afford on my own. With the holidays approaching, I know everyone has their own financial struggles, and it’s incredibly difficult for me to ask for assistance. But Lilly’s life is on the line, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to give her the chance she deserves.

Lilly has been a light in my life, bringing love and happiness to everyone she meets. She’s not just a pet; she’s family. I want to give her more time to enjoy the simple things she loves—snuggles, her favorite treats, and quiet moments by my side.

Lilly’s lab work and diagnostic was $960. Her surgery is $5000 and I had to give a 60% deposit upfront which was $3000. I did have to take out a loan to do this and unfortunately with it being the beginning of the month and so many bills coming out as well as the holidays this has made it very tough on me and, I fear that it’s going to make the start of the new year very financially especially with having to pay off this loan and whenever Lilly is discharged, I will have to pay the remaining $2000 .
