So I was thinking while I was running my last long run, for the Boston Marathon on April 21, this is going to be special this year. I mean with the devastation that took place last year it is going to be really special standing on that line with so many people as one. As this went over and over in my head I decided that after doing over 50 marathons basically for my self I needed to make it worth something. My youngest daughter immediately popped into my mind. A few years ago she was diagnosed with a disease called Wegeners granulomatosis. It is a rare autoimmune disease that attacks the small blood vessels in various organs of the body. wegener's granulomatosis Twenty years ago she would have died. The doctors and staff at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital saved her life as they do for many children everyday. There for I am challenging myself and you to help raise money for this cause. Any donations would be a true gift.Thank You!
