I have been accepted into La Musica Lirica, an intensive opera program in Novafeltria, Italy. As part of this program, I will receive voice lessons, opera coachings, and Italian classes. I will also sing in recitals throughout the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy, and culminate the program by performing Puccini's "La Rondine," a beloved opera classic, fully staged and costumed, with orchestra.

World-class faculty will serve a voice teachers, opera coaches, opera directors, and conductors. Not only will I further my craft as a singer and artist, but I will also forge valuable professional relationships as I seek to begin my career.

Here is how I will use the $10,000 I hope to raise:

$6,000: Program fee
$500: Housing fee
$200: Two nights' hotel stay in Rome at the beginning and end of my trip
$2,000: Round-trip airfare from Tucson, AZ to Rome, Italy
$500: Food for five weeks
$200: Transportation from Rome to Novafeltria, Italy
$600: Unforeseen expenses
