Help Us Help Our Father with ALS
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
Sadly, our father David was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis,) or Lou Gehrig's Disease in early February this year. ALS is a terminal progessive neurodegenerative disease that effects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, causing the destruction of motor neurons which will cause him to have a total loss of muscle control and paralysis.
As time goes on, our father will require increasingly extensive care and we are asking for any amount of support to help cover his nursing and medical expenses. We want to be able to help our father receive the best care possible, and unfortunately we cannot do this alone. This is a very difficult time for our family, and any help that we receive financially will absolutely lift some of the stress we have all been feeling.
Our father loves singing James Taylor and walking his dog. He loves the beach and the stars. He taught us how to play baseball and how to have fun in life. We would like to be able to help him make his way as gracefully as possible through the time he has left.
