83-year-old Widow's house got firebombed

Donation protected
It's unimaginable, sad, yet true.  Someone fire-bombed an 83 year old widow's home that she relies on for her retirement income.

She had already spent everything she had and borrowed more to remodel it and just when she was almost ready to rent it out, someone destroyed all her work by throwing a fire bomb through the window and nearly burned the house down.     No one knows why.   Was it a hate crime?   The arsons struck two houses some distance apart that night, and the other house burned to the ground.   The only thing that saved Arlis' home was the fact that she had just replaced all the carpets with new retardant ones.    Even though the carpets didn't burst into flames, they smoldered all night and coated the entire house with soot.

Now instead of having the income that she expected to have to pay off her home repair loans, Arlis has a ruined house and no money to undo the damage left by this cruel arson.

Even though she had purchased fire insurance,  the company is refusing to pay because the house was vacant for over 90 days.  They're punishing an 83 year old widow for taking too long to remodel a home that was her sole source of income.

Please help -- she has no one else to turn to.
