Beloved Friend,
In these times where terrorism, reckless hate speech, religious intolerance and racism is rampant over the airwaves, our youth need more intercultural, international, and interfaith education so that they can grow up to be bridge-builders of peace.
This year in commemoration of Dr. King's assassination date (April 4th)
I am joining leaders from around the world in Seoul Korea and Thailand for a Peace Education Mission.
I will attend a Summit on Peace, meet with faith, civic, and governmental leaders to discuss peace strategies.
We will also tour various sacred and historic sites to learn what these ancient relgions teach about peace and what they are doing today to build peace.
While this will be a great learning experience for me, I believe it's important that I BRING BACK a documentary to share with youth back home in the United States.
Will you chip in with a contribution of $25.00 or more to help me reach youth to be globally-minded bridge builders for peace?
This will allow me to:
1. Purchase camera equipment and hire videographers overseas.
2. Purchase 50 books on the Civil Rights Era in the U.S. to take and share with leaders we encounter during our tour.
3. Cover the cost of incidentals, fees, and unplanned expenses when traveling internationally.
When completed, all donors will receive a link to our edited documentary and an invitation to attend a special evening when I will share stories and answer your questions about this Peace Mission.
Peace is possible. Help me to empower the next generation of youth leaders to be bridge builders for peace.
