Help Sam

Our good friend Sam is a father of 3 and wonderful husband to a wife who was recently diagnosed with spontaneous Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, or CJD. CJD is a fatal illness, similar to dementia but much more aggressive, with an optimistic timeline of 6 months (probably less,) and far more rare at less than 1,000 people being diagnosed per year. Health issues such as this one are always a surprise and very unfortunate for those involved. Sam is a hard working, wonderful person whose life has been turned upside down. Our goal is to ensure that Sam is able to find support for childcare, funeral arrangements for his wife, all while still being a hardworking, supportive father. Please help us to support Sam and his family in this trying time.
