ADA Safety Living Accommodation Project

Donation protected
I am thankful to be here today and am truly blessed. In 2013, mid-way thru the year, I was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease, a disease commonly known as, "ALS". There is no known cause or cure to this aggressive health condition as it continues to get worse. All of my voluntary muscles stop receiving messages from my spinal cord.

I am requesting funding to my living accommodation for A.D.A compliance and safety at my son-in-law and daughter's house. This money will go toward remodeling the space, building a bathroom that allows me to be taken care of safely and a bedroom that allows my wife, who is my care-taker, to live out my last years.

The Holy Spirit immediately gave me peace knowing that this is God's plan for me. I do not fear death. I fear my work is not done here on Earth. My good friend at my church CLCBC in Lake Villa, put her hand on my shoulder and said, "The moment your eyes close, you wake up with everlasting life".

I am thankful for all my new found friends at CLCBC, blessed to know that my family knows a life with God. But mostly thankful to God for being by my side every step of the way. I will be having a 60 Year Celebration of Life event hosted at CLCBC located on Grass Lake Rd. on May 24th, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Click on this event link for the Facebook event and mark on your calendars! Event Link

Special thanks go to my caretakers, friends and family. I don't know where I would be without any of you, God bless!
