Home Repair for New Widow and Daughters

Donation protected
The Greensboro area was shocked when David Bowden, a husband, father, pastor, Upward director, tennis coach, and otherwise selfless man died suddenly of a heart attack on February 11, 2014. Although David led teams that worked on repairing the homes of others, he had little time or resources to work on his own house. This is where you come in. The goal of this crowd funding project is to raise money to restore the home of David's widow and daughters to a beautiful safe haven where renewal and healing can take place. A team of experts recently surveyed the home for needed repairs. They determined that the exterior of the house needs: pressure washing, siding, new gutters,  porch repair, decking repair, staining/sealing of the deck, and the exterior trim painted. The interior of the house needs: plumbing work and completion of the kitchen renovation. Cosmetic needs: upstairs carpeting and paint. Funds collected will be prioritized in order of need to improve the integrity of the house. Any funds raised in excess of the goal will go to paying down the mortgage. Thank you for being their friend, encouraging them in their faith, and blessing them with your finances.Click Here for David's Obituary
