Love for Leah

On Tuesday August 7th, Leah was in an accident in which she suffered a traumatic brain injury and was knocked unconscious. When she arrived at St David's South Austin ER, she was in critical condition and not breathing on her own.  Leah sustained a skull fracture, 3 brain bleeds, and multiple brain contusions putting her in a week long stint in the Shock Trauma ICU and another week in the Rehab Hospital with release date TBD.  Thanks to the skilled and attentive medical staff and positive vibes sent from hundreds of her friends and family, Leah is well on her way to a full recovery impressing every nurse and doctor that sees her brain scans and medical chart.

Her progress has been unequivocal and as she continues her journey back to health, we set up this page to help alleviate the financial burden and stress with incurred medical expenses. We would all agree that there is no limit to the price we would pay to have Leah here with us so I hope this is an avenue for her supporters to show their love and well-wishes until she can have visitors and go home.
