My Journey with AML by Geneva Troutt
I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on July 2, My world stopped and changed forever.I had to close my business and give up all the activities I was involved I spent all of July as an inpatient at Pres/StLuke I got out 1 week then had my transplant. My brother Clyde was my donor. 2 weeks after I was dismissed and in isolation at home for 100 days. In Jan had a relaps and back inpatient for all of January. I also spent 2 weeks in the hospital in February.
I am now waiting to get into a IDH 1 study at Colorado Medical Center.
The donations that I am asking for will be used to pay medical bills that the insurance does not cover. Also I have to have a care giver and the insurance does not pay for that which is costly.
I want to thank everyone for their donation, also I ask that you up hold me in prayer for a healing.
