Greg's Medical and Healing Fund
Greg Foley is a very good friend of mine who is fighting Adenocarcinoma. Greg started his battle with Adenocarcinoma back in December of 2013. Greg started having pain that mimicked chest pains and went to see his doctor at MGH. After testing they found a mass on his intestine that was pushing against his chest wall. Greg had surgery and was on his way to recovery. In January 2014, Greg found a lump on the right side of this neck and testing showed it was another mass. Greg started intense double radiation to decrease the size of the mass so that surgery could be done. After 5 weeks of radiation,in February 2014, another scan was done and the doctors at MGH found additional spots on his stomach and liver. After 8 weeks of intense radiation, as of April 3, 2014, Greg was told by his doctor that there are additional spots on his liver and pancreas. Greg is currently working on a treatment plan with his doctors and hoping for the best possible outcome.
Greg is a 45 years old, self employed mechanic and single dad to a 17 year old daughter named Brooke. As we all know, medical bills can be overwhelming at times and with no other form of income coming into the household, bills are piling up. At this time Greg is waiting and waiting to be placed on disability until radiation is over. I am trying to help ease his worries and get Greg focused on what is really important, FIGHTING AND WINNING this battle.
