When Tragedy Happens:. Cry with Understanding, Pray with Faith, Understand with Grace!
Justin Barnabei is a courageous individual battling transverse myelitis (swelling of the spine) and doctors are saying the end of his fight is near. Justin being such a loving person is determined to still FIGHT ON and help others. Graduating from his 8th Grade class as Valedictorian, Justin is determined to help others CONTINUE ON when faced with overwhelming physical conditions. Justin's battle with transverse myelitis will not afford him the opportunity to graduate with his 12th grade class, class of 2014; however, his high school did present him with an Honorary Diploma.
Justin is determined to help find a cure for his illness and is requesting that once he leaves this earth an autopsy will be conducted at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in order that the results can be used as research regarding transverse myelitis.
In Justin's mission to help others, he would like to afford future 8th grade students at Fairfield Township School of Cumberland County, NJ and 12th grade students at Cumberland Regional High School with scholarships in his name to acknowledge their courage when faced with adversity. In addition, the family would like to donate some of the proceeds to help other families financially in similar situations.
