Having watched several friends suddenly pass on in the last few weeks, I have decided to do the things that I have kept putting off.
My goal is to get back to Virginia to see the friends that I've grown up with and the ground that I once stomped on.
While I refuse to accept the odds, all but 6% of those who share my condition experience recurrence during the 3rd year after diagnosis, and 99% of those die within a few months.
I am in my third year and praying every day for the tools to beat this disease. If you have the means, and desire, please join in my efforts to raise the funds needed to spend a couple of weeks back home.

I would also love to arrange a big "old school" gathering .. I Really want to get the chance to see you all again and think you for making me who I am.
