It is time for Branding!

Like so many, I happened upon my new career through a beautiful mix of circumstances. If not for my undergraduate adviser, I would have never contemplated law as my end-game. A philosopher at heart with an inherent need to create and stretch my mind, law seemed sterile. You know; white walls, endless memos and briefs, musky library smell, et cetera. Yet, soon after I began law school, I came to realize that law can be more than the courtroom, the pant-suit, and the panty-hose.
While attending law school at night ("We are the 33!") and working full-time, I traveled with my Jeweler/Metalsmith sister around the country attending wholesale and retail shows. Besides having a blast, I also had the opportunity to speak with a multitude of artists of every medium. I listened to their questions, concerns, needs, and struggles they faced protecting their art and their sacrifices therein. I knew I wanted to help them, and I took law classes specifically geared towards alleviating their anxieties.
Having graduated from law school, passed the Virginia Bar, and I opened my own law firm. Now I am looking to my community for support to assist in this branding campaign. Branding is perhaps one of the most important foundational steps a new company can take. Your brand represents you and everything you want to accomplish. Without your brand, people will not know who you are, what you do, or why you do it. I tell people everyday in my practice that branding is imperative for success. I want to make sure I practice what I preach. That is the point of this Kickstarter. I need the help to raise the capital to create a full brand, logo, tagline and website included.
