Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Matthew but everyone calls me Matty. I'm 24 years old and I started this fundraiser to help me chase the one dream that I have had as long as I could remember. To be able to record edit and produce my own album!!
I am very exited to have recieved so many donations Already it makes me feel great knowing other people believe i can do thos as much as i do. I love to play guitar and sing. I would love to be able to produce my own music that I can hold and share with friends family and the world. I am not looking to become famous from my music or anything like that but just searching for the opportunity to accomplished something in music which I have always held an interest in. There are reasons why time is of the essance :/
Why do you need our help Matty??
unfortunately I am unable to work A job(earn money for the the things I need) because of a disease I have been fighting my whole life called Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic lung disease which effects mainly the lungs and digestive system It causes thick sticky mucus To fill my lungs Which makes it hard to breathe. The mucus in My lungs also grow very strong bacteria that cause damage to My lungs and frequent Hospitalization to treat lung infections.over time It Becomes more and more difficult to breathe And eventually to stay alive I will Need a lung transplant.This disease has no cure. And the average life expectancy of someone with Cystic Fibrosis is 37 years old. I just turned 24.
What is this donation going toward Matty ?
I am using the money raised to buy a proper laptop which I can use to record edit and hold my recordings so that I can produce songs and then an album!! This computer will also make it easier for me to keep in touch with family and friends when I go into the hospital which happens often due to lung infections and usually I'm there for two weeks at a time, so this has a double benefit. Also some money will go to buy a proper microphone and a stand so I can play guitar and sing hands free. Thank you for any support even if its a simple "good luck"wish With love Matty
