Owner died - 17 dogs left to die

I have recently been made aware of a dire situation and am trying to help out by raising money to help these dogs .  A long- time friend of mine (and fellow animal rescuer) had a neighbor that passed away.  When the elderly woman passed she left behind 17 little Chihuahuas and Chiweenies (Chihuahua and Dachshund Mixes) .  They were left alone in a house for a week without food, water, or air conditioning.  Their condition is very poor and they need medical care, good quality food, spaying/neutering, vaccinations, wormer, etc.  Several of the dogs are pregnant and 3 of the younger puppies have died due to lack of nourishment.     All of the rescues in the area are over-burdened and so we are reaching out to the community for donations to help get these innocent animals healthy so they can be placed into loving homes.  Although they are frightened and traumatized they are friendly and very happy to be getting the care they need.  Please consider making a donation in any amount so we can help get these animals healthy.
