I am writing to you all with a very heavy heart, as someone so dear to us has passed away. In years past, Dave has helped so many in their time of need so I'm asking that you find it in your heart to help the one he loved and cherished most in this world.
Dave Monteiro was the loving father and best friend to his beautiful daughter Jasmine (Jazzie). He raised Jasmine alone since she was a little girl. As a single parent, Dave has always done the right thing, and though tough at times, he worked hard to make sure she had everything she needed to have a happy and normal life.
A few years ago, when Dave found out his kidneys were failing and was diagnosed E.S.R.D. (End Stage Renal Disease) his daughter never left his side as they waited for the kidney that would give them many more years together.
As a member of local rock bands as Windwood Hollow and Landslide, Dave has been involved with many benefits and fundraisers in the past, doing benefit shows with these bands, including serving as sound engineer for many of the North Attleboro Firefighter’s Kid’s Day Event {an annual event run by the North Attleboro Fire Fighters that raises money for local charities and causes}.
Thank you for your consideration and for any help you can provide to Jazzie in her time of need. We all need to pull together and give her some peace of mind and give her father the burial that he deserves.
