Fund for Ellie

Ellie just returned from Guatemala City where she served a vital role as Sterilizer for the Rotaplast mission where the team performed cleft lip and palate surgeries on children. Her energy, skills and sense of humor contributed to the major success of the mission.  After dedicating two weeks of her time she returned back to Maine to icy and snowy conditions. Her first day back she was driving to work and hit ice on the road and was in a serious car accident. She totalled her vehicle and left her with injuries requiring surgery on her leg and knee. Our sweet Ellie, who had already given two weeks of her time away from work, will now be out of work for another six weeks. While working multiple jobs, Ellie always finds time and energy to dedicate to others both in Rotary, in her community and with her family.
