R.I.P. Alyce L. Clapp - A True "Angel"

Donation protected
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of a true "earth angel" my mother, Mrs. Alyce L. Clapp.

She had been seriously ill for a number of years but made it a point of "fighting the good fight". However, today on Jun 18, 2014 at 3:55 a.m. God saw fit to call one of his bravest soldiers and must humble servants home to rest.

Through all of her trials and tribulations, she kept a kind word and a smile on her face for anyone she came in contact with, as well as keeping a prayer on her lips and the faith in her heart that one day it would get better - whatever situation came her way.

The strength and grace that she exibited on a day-to-day basis while fighting this battle was truly awe-inspiring and something to behold. Trust and believe that she was scared - but she chose to ALWAYS keep her trust and faith in whatever God's plan for her was. She accepted what was - and what was going to be.

Her love for her family, friends, associates, and her fellow man was evident in how she lived her life and the deeds she did. Whatever Alyce L. Clapp did for others she did it from the bottom of her heart. All her life she "paid it forward" with her time, her money, her knowledge, her friendship, and her faith. Never once did she ask anything of anybody in return. She ALWAYS gave more than she got in every shape, form and fashion.

As great as she was, she NEVER yearned to bask in the limelight. She wasn't about that. If anything, she pushed and encouraged others. She was a "kingmaker" and a "queenmaker". She was the "wind beneath the wings" of many individuals who have gone on to be successful in various disciplines.Though understated, her overall greatness was obvious to all who had the honor to make her acquaintance.

Now I have something to ask of you.......

I want you to "pay it forward" in memory of Alyce L. Clapp. Now, I'm not asking you to give a donation to help with her burial. If you choose to do that then it would be accepted and greatly appreciated.

However, in her memory, I want you to find a good cause or a charity and make it your business to help out that charity or cause by "paying it forward" to them in rememberance and on behalf of Alyce L. Clapp

Because that is was what she did everyday when she was able. She "paid it forward" in some sort of way.
