Two of my high school classmates & friends have been forever changed by an unexpected turn of events.
Beth Collette Gilbert was finally able to get her husband Bart, on a transplant list for a new liver after a lengthy illness. Half way across the country, tragedy struck Linnette Bowker's family when her sister suffered a medical emergency. Her sister Char had made the decision to be an organ donor. She was a direct match for Bart & more than 50 other people were gifted with other donations.
Bart has recieved this beautiful gift & is doing well. Char's selfless act will be remembered forever.
I would like to raise enough money to get my friend Linny & possibly her brother, airfare & expense money to visit Beth & Bart. Any extra donations would go directly to Beth & Bart for medical & living expenses as this has been such a difficult time for them both.
