Hi my name is Brian Stacey and im doing a skydive from 13,000 feet in the Irish Parachute Club Edenderry on the 25th of October to raise funds for 8 year Eoghan o Reilly who is the son and grandson of good friends of mine. Eoghan and his family have a tough fight ahead of them and need all there focus on there little boy getting through this terrible illness and shouldn't have the worry of the financial outcome on top of all there going through, Eoghan and his family need alot help here and people have already raised sums of money which is amazing but this little boys family deserve this help so much to ease the worry of the financial situation to help them get through the fight ahead. 
 
Eoghan is a wonderful little boy who lights up any room he walks into. In June 2024 he was diagnosed with a brain tumour called Craniopharyngioma after months of being in and out of hospital to try diagnose what was wrong. In June 2024 he underwent an operation to insert an Omara reservoir, and he had months of tapping through it to draw out the build up of fluid. In December 2024, he underwent surgery to remove the tumour. They ended up removing it alongside his pituitary gland now giving him lifelong hormone conditions. 

On a check up in April 2025, they found a large cyst and more tumours growing. He underwent another surgery in July 2025 to removes these. While in surgery he had a mild stroke. The doctors removed as much as they could but realised there was more than thought. As a risk of the surgery Eoghan has lost the peripheral vision to his right eye which he will learn to live with. 

Eoghan now has to fly to Manchester or Germany (as an avid Man U supporter he is hoping for Manchester) to receive a type of adiation called proton therapy in hopes it will kill off the rest of everything and heal him. Doctors are hoping by doing this Eoghan has little chance of this reoccurring getting him back to normal life.
