8 year old Jaylyn, Neuroblastoma

Donation protected
Neuroblastoma is a rare cancer of the sympathetic nervous system-a nerve system that carries messages from the brain throughout the body. Neuroblastoma affects approximately 700 children a year. 60% of patients with Neuroblastoma will relapse. Once in relapse, the survival rate is less than 5%. Unfortunately there are no known cures for relapsed Neuroblastoma.
Now I would like you to meet Jaylyn and her mom Krista. This little girl has never been seen without a smile on her face. She is a very happy, beautiful and normal eight year old girl. Jaylyn enjoys the everyday activities that most girls do, playing with friends having sleepovers and birthday parties. Jaylyn’s favourite thing to do is spend time with her family. She has three younger brothers that she loves dearly. Jaylyn’s mom Krista is a devoted and hard working mom that would do anything for any of her children. Krista is the only provider for her family, and unfortunately she is struggling with all of these costs. Krista, even though with the trials in theirs lives keeps a positive outlook on this situation. She's always focusing on the positive even though she has many obstacles to overcome.
Jaylyn understands that she’s sick and what these treatments involve. Jaylyn was diagnosed with this life threatening cancer when she was only three years old. She was successfully treated and was in remission until last year. She once again had to endure chemotherapy for a second time, the cancer again went into remission. Now less than a year later its back and she is going to go through one of the more dangerous procedures to fight against it.  She is now in Toronto at Sick Kids hospital starting this procedure.

We have designed this page in hopes of raising enough money to cover costs of travel back and forth from appointments, accommodations, medication and food.
Jaylyn has also expressed how much she would like to go to Disney with her family.
Jaylyn’s mom Krista works full time but is obviously on a leave to care for her daughter.  There is no additional funding except for a grant of $1000 dollars from the Neuroblastoma society. Which was a nice contribution but not nearly enough  as she is still struggling with past costs from the pervious years.

Every little bit helps please so please donate what you can afford for Jaylyn and her family.
 Thank you in advance.
